the text is katakana for "kitschy" (kicchi), which is just the art style used for this piece in particular.

THAT"S AWESOME that is heaven to me! I love cicadas so much! When I was in Japan it was while they were still out and active and I miss them so much, they sang nonstop and I loved to catch them, they're huge!
